Our restaurant continues the philosophy of our house.
Our goal is for every guest to have a wonderful time with us and to look back on their stay at Hotel Traube with a smile.
Whether in the traditional rustic tavern, the stylish restaurant, the cozy Zirbelstube, or our beautiful beer garden – you're sure to find something to your taste.
Our dedicated kitchen team creates fine dishes with love, care, and ambition to delight your palate. It all starts with the ingredients for our food and drinks: we source most of our products from local suppliers and always pay close attention to quality, freshness, and origin.
The game used in our kitchen comes from the mountain forests of Thalkirchdorf, the alpine lamb grazes during summer on the Hündle – Oberstaufen’s ski and adventure mountain – and most of the fish comes from Lake Constance.
Our focus is on regional cuisine. Every Friday, we serve traditional Allgäu Kässpatzen, or, by pre-order, oven-roasted veal shank.
